Dermaplaning involves the regulated movement of a steel scalpel blade gliding gently across the face at a 45-degree angle. This rejuvenation treatment is used to remove the very fine, top layer of the epidermis along with vellus hairs often known as ‘peach fuzz’. The result is baby-soft, smooth, glowing, hair-free skin that can last around 4 weeks.
Microneedling and dermaroller treatments are minimally invasive treatments designed to enhance the skin’s texture and tone. It can help reduce the visible signs of ageing, soften the appearance of acne scarring and improve pigmentation resulting from sun damage.
We use a derma pen, derma roller, or derma stamp for this treatment. These tools use a cluster of microneedles ranging from 1mm – 1.5mm in thickness, that are gently rolled across your face creating trauma to the cells and prompting them to regrow and stimulating collagen production. Not only can this treatment reduce fine lines and wrinkles, but it also greatly improves the absorption and effectiveness of your other skincare products.
